Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid advisory engagements with Systemsdevsuite — including Executive Search Mandates, positioning work, interview preparation, and offer negotiation counsel. It does not cover products we do not sell (physical goods, software licences, or subscription platforms).

Eligibility

Refunds depend on whether work has started, whether a deposit was designated non-refundable in your proposal, and how much of the agreed scope has been delivered.

Cooling-off for consumers

If you engage us as a consumer distance contract under German law, statutory withdrawal rights may apply where not waived for services begun with your prior express consent. Details appear in your engagement letter when relevant.

Deposits

Deposits reserve a start date and advisor capacity. Unless your written proposal states otherwise, deposits become non-refundable once the intake session has occurred or preparation work has begun (whichever is earlier).

Full refunds

A full refund of fees paid (excluding non-refundable deposits already earned) is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons on our side before substantive work begins, or if we mutually agree in writing that the mandate cannot proceed.

Partial refunds

If you cancel after work has started, we invoice for sessions delivered and reasonable preparation already performed. Any unused prepaid balance may be refunded proportionally, less the non-refundable deposit portion stated in your proposal.

Non-refundable items

• Completed sessions and delivered written materials
• Rush surcharges once the accelerated schedule has been confirmed
• Third-party costs approved by you (for example agreed travel) once incurred

Rescheduling and no-shows

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice at no charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may be counted as delivered sessions. Interview preparation packages tied to a fixed interview date cannot always be moved; unused sessions may expire after the interview unless otherwise agreed.

Work already started

For multi-month search mandates, ending early does not entitle you to a refund of fees covering work already performed, including research and materials prepared for your search.

Refund process and timing

Email info@systemsdevsuite.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days where the payment provider allows.
